Battery Monitoring System

The HuDe Battery Monitoring System is a state-of-the-art system for recording the level, temperature and voltage of battery cells. The ATEX certified system is developed according to military standards and is used by Navys worldwide on the Scorpene, S80 and U209 class submarines.

In addition to the individual sensors (RSU) in each battery cell, the system has data concentrators (DCOs) and a process control and evaluation unit (PMU), which is operated by touch screen. The PMU allows direct access to all relevant status information of the entire battery and the individual battery cells.
