Battery Monitoring System

The HuDe Battery Monitoring System is a state-of-the-art system for measuring the level, temperature and voltage of battery cells. The ATEX certified system has been developed to military standards and is used by Navys worldwide on submarines of the Scorpene, S80 and U209 classes.

In addition to the individual sensors (RSU) in each battery cell, the system not only has data concentrators (DCOs) but also a process control and evaluation unit (PMU), which is operated via touchscreen. The PMU allows direct access to all relevant status information of the entire battery and the individual battery cells.
