FINAL Tank

The FINAL Test System used to investigate the performance of Airbag inflators. It simulates the different airbag sizes 60l, 90l, 120l. The airbag modules are mounted in the cans and a sealed airbag cushion is inserted. After ignition, the cans can be easily cleaned and the bags reused as often as desired.

Test Results

The tank offer different prepared mounting positions for sensors. The pressure and temperature occurring after ignition can be measured and evaluated in our software. The results of the pressure curves are very similar to the dynamic impact test. But the low testing costs of the FINAL Test System offers a big cost advantage over the elaborate impact tests.
